DESCRIPTION/TASTING NOTES: The Veneto region of northern Italy is one of the most renowned regions in the world for wine making, producing a variety of blended red wines including Amarone and Ripasso. The same grapes for Valpolicella are partially dried prior to fermentation giving some “oomph” to the wine. Our Ripasso is no exception; rich berry and dark fruit notes give way to a spice complexity (green peppercorn, cinnamon, bay leaf and clove) that make it a fine choice to drink by itself during the cooler winter months.
