DESCRIPTION/TASTING NOTES: These Pinot Noir grapes are grown in the Piedmont region of northern Italy, an area noted for its herbal red wines. Light notes of raspberry and strawberry give way to an herbal complexity of black peppercorn, anise, licorice, thyme, rosemary and sage. We opted to balance out the herbal mid-palate with a healthy amount of American oak to give the wine a slight smokiness that lends itself to pairing with bolder fare.
